Why T-shirts Choose Polyester Viscose Spandex Fabric

T-shirts have been a wardrobe staple for decades, and they come in a wide variety of styles and fabrics. One popular fabric choice for T-shirts is polyester viscose spandex, a blend of synthetic and natural fibers that offers several benefits over other fabrics. In this article, we will explore why T-shirts choose polyester viscose spandex fabric. Polyester viscose spandex fabric is a combination of polyester, viscose, and spandex fibers. Polyester is a synthetic fiber that is known for its durability and resistance to wrinkles, shrinking, and stretching. Viscose, also known as rayon, is a natural fiber that is made from wood pulp and has a soft, silky texture. Spandex is a synthetic fiber that is known for its stretch and recovery properties. Kinds of Knitted Terry Fabric Material Comparing

图片
Knitted terry fabric is a popular textile material that is commonly used for towels, bathrobes, and other similar products. It is made from cotton yarns that are looped and twisted to create a soft, plush texture. Knitted terry fabric is known for its absorbency, durability, and comfort, making it an ideal material for a wide range of applications. In this article, we will compare knitted terry fabric to other popular textile materials and highlight the advantages and disadvantages of each. Compared to woven terry fabric, knitted terry fabric is generally softer and more absorbent. Woven terry fabric is made by weaving yarns over and under each other to create a tight, dense fabric. While woven terry fabric is durable and long-lasting, it may not be as soft or absorbent as knitted terry fabric. Knitted terry fabric, on the other hand, is made by looping yarns together in a continuous pattern, creating a plush texture that is both soft and absorbent. However, knitted terry fabric may

What is Single Jersey Fabric

图片
Jersey is one of the knitted textiles. For knitters like me, you will understand that this means that this fabric is made up of a stitch that is built by connecting loops together with a single thread. Its name comes from the island of Jersey, where the word designates since the end of the 16th century products knitted with wool produced on site. And yes ! Originally the jersey was made of wool! Now jersey is mainly produced in 100% cotton single jersey or synthetic fibers. Please note, wool jersey is less stretchy than cotton or synthetic fiber and must have a special wash to avoid felting. What is surprising is that the yarn used for knitting has zero elasticity and thanks to the stockinette stitch, the fabric has a natural elasticity. In the same way, when you have a thread to knit with, it is not stretchy and yet the fact of making stitches provides elasticity to the work. It's "magical" huh! Unlike woven fabrics, jersey does not fray at the raw-cut edges, but they w

Choose the Right Footage Fabric for Your Project

As I told you above, the "real" Asian fabrics are in useful width between 108 and 112cm. It is therefore sometimes necessary to recalculate the length needed for your project even if more and more pattern brands are doing the job of offering the necessary lengths in 140 and 110cm wide. Note that it is now possible to find Asia-inspired patterned fabrics 140cm wide. However, even if the patterns resemble traditional Asian fabrics, these are higher quality fabrics mostly from knitted fabric manufacturers all over the world. To help you calculate your lengths, I have made this very useful little table (which I use myself regularly). Note that this is valid up to approximately size 44 and that this is only an approximation. Another technique is to take the heights. For example, if you want to make a simple blouse in Asian cotton, you count: a height in front back height one sleeve height For example for a top: front height 60cm + back height 60cm + sleeve height 30cm = 1.3m of
